FAQs
-
Most of our classes are beginner or all levels, and any classes that are leveled are color-coded on our schedule so it’s easy for you to choose the right class.
You can learn more about our adult dance classes here, and about our fitness classes here.
Private lessons are tailored to your individual goals. We’ll spend a few minutes at the beginning of the lesson crafting a plan to focus on what matters most to you. If you know in advance what you would like to work on, please let us know at 928-224-9128 and we’ll prepare ahead of time!
-
Any clothing you can move well in is welcome. No street shoes, please!
For dance classes, socks work really great on our dance floor, but we're happy to recommend specific footwear for you.
For fitness classes, we recommend socks or bare feet for mat based classes, and socks or clean tennis shoes for other classes.
We have some adult dancewear and grip socks available for purchase in the studio.
Please arrive dressed for class as we do run our classes back to back, and do not have space or time for changing.
-
Please bring a water bottle, and bring a yoga mat for fitness classes.
-
Parking is available on the north and south sides of our building. If parking spaces fill, there is more parking
in the strip mall just past our parking lot. -
Fitness classes are in Studio 644, the building with a FITNESS sign on the front of it. Dance classes are in our main building, 640.
For private lessons, head to our main building (640) and we’ll let you know which room we’ll be in for your lesson.
-
Yes, we have lots of couples who take class with us.

Questions You’re Probably Too Nervous to Ask
-
We do NOT require partners for any of our partner dance classes. We will dance with you, and we’ll also rotate partners in class so that you get plenty of opportunities to dance with a partner!
If you want to bring a partner, that’s awesome! We have lots of couples who take class with us. While we recommend rotating partners in class for the full learning experience, you are welcome to stay with your partner the entire time.
Our group classes are priced per person, so if you’re bringing a partner, make sure you each sign up for class separately! You can bring 1 partner to private lessons for no additional cost.
-
It’s never too late to be a dancer! You might feel like you have two left feet, but our classes are designed with you in mind.
Be prepared to be patient with yourself, and enjoy the journey! Some people learn faster than others, but regardless, we’ll help you be successful on the dance floor.
-
First of all, we’re proud of you for committing to a new workout routine!
We recommend one-on-one personal training for newbies so that you can learn the foundational movement patterns and build your baseline strength. We especially recommend this option if it’s difficult for you to get up & down from the floor, as that is one of the skills we will work on with you.
If you have a previous workout background, even if it’s been a while, we recommend our Barre Fitness class. This class has faster transitions between moves, but you’ll be given lots of options during class, so it’s appropriate for beginners and advanced movers alike.
If you’re a fitness regular, Sculpt Strength is the perfect class for you to start challenging yourself with slightly heavier weights, while still getting all the fun vibes of a group class workout with a great playlist.
Our Dance Cardio class is the perfect choice if you are unable to kneel or get down on the floor, as this class stays standing the entire time.
Yoga is a great option for you if you know you need to work on your mobility and range of motion. This class does require getting up and down from the floor, as well as kneeling.
-
We’ve taught students as young as their 90’s to squat, get up and down from the floor, improve their bone density, dance at weddings, perform, compete, and more!
So, you’re probably not too old :)
-
Some people will have more experience than you. Some will have less. That's normal. You're here to learn, not audition, and we’re here to help you change your life through movement.
A stronger, healthier, happier you is on the other side of trying something new (even if you’re nervous).
-
That’s why we offer an intro special! While we think you’re sure to find something you love at our studio, there’s no commitment or strings attached at the end of your intro if you didn’t end up loving it.
